You can delete your Arc account and all of its associated data at any time. The fastest way is from inside the app, but if you no longer have the app installed you can request deletion by email and we'll take care of it.
Open Arc and go to Profile → Edit profile → Delete account. You'll be asked to confirm and re-authenticate, then your account and data are erased. This works while you're signed in and have the app installed.
If you've uninstalled Arc or can't sign in, email us and we'll delete your account for you:
Please send it from the email address registered to your Arc account (or tell us that address) so we can verify the request. Use the subject Delete my Arc account. We action verified requests within 30 days and confirm by reply.
Deleting your account removes all of the following — both the copy on your device and any copy stored in the cloud (if you ever turned on Cloud sync):
| Category | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Account | Your sign-in account — email address and display name (Firebase Authentication) |
| Your habit content | Habits, goals, identity journeys, mood logs, identities, achievements, streaks and completion history |
| Cloud backup | The synced copy of the above stored under your user ID in Cloud Firestore |
| Accountability partner | Your shared profile snapshot, friend code, partner pairing and any encouragements |
| App data & settings | Preferences, notification settings, entitlement cache and your local session |
